Just back from 3-29 had an leh,hunting was very very tough but we were able to find this guy.

Did you ever get off the road at all?LOL Hope you have fun getting the sand and gravel out of the moose meat. Mind you, with your luck a loader probably picked up your moose and a local fire truck hosed him down for you. Some guys are so lucky. Nice road buck too!

Yes, I guess it was a tough hunt. You poor guys.Can I come next year?

Ha Ha, that was lucky,but you have to be lucky to be good,he walked acroos the road about a 1000 yards ahead of us and into the bush.I drove down marked on the gps where he went in then turned around and went down this side road I saw luckily it ran beside the other one about a 1/2 mile deeper in than the one we saw him on.Stoped at the mark on the gps and waited, 40 min later guess who walked out.
The deer was 800 yards from the road and ten times harder than the moose was.

Congrats on the bull and the buck....you do know that since you did so well in this season that you may have to go moose-less and deer-less for a few seasons, eh?

Thanks,I always fill my tags here on the island,this was my first moose trip or I should say the first time I have ever got an leh.I went moose hunting about 6 years ago in hudson hope with a friend of mine.The first day there we went out for evening hunt and when we came back to camp to find we had been robbed. 9 gerry cans of fuel,chainsaw ,rope,all our booze,everything we had.
