I moved this from the original thread, because I hi jacked it!!:oops: OOPS
Hey Dave-
Keep your eyes open for my gut pile......

Mike

No sir, surely you mean my gut pile.
Took this little guy at 2 pm. Nice area we were put on too. My son Shane has one mean set of eyes on him, kid almost always sees the critters first. I just wish the buck would have stood still long enough for him to take him. Now if he could only find deer ABOVE the road!!!!!!!

Thanks all, he had a buddy one more step in the trees, only saw the back end of him. Ironically we were heading out of a new cut block we had walked for quite a while, then spotted them while driving to another area we wanted to check out. Dumb luck but I'll take it.

That looks great! (Nice vest too). Did the snow help the drag out?

That white stuff made the day. The snow was fresh overnight and the roads were HAMMERED in the one area we were in. but to answer your question, NO I've never fallen going UP HILL so much in my life . The kids were tickled pink laughing at me dragging him up hill some 100 yds. Good thing it wasn't a brute!!

Way to go Dave! Looks like it won't be long and you can let Shane drag them out on his own. That buck will be some good eating for sure.

Nice buck, Dave! I just came back from my trip too. We each bagged a buck after two day's hunt. :)
