Have heard murmurings of possible access issues Thought this would be a good place to turn for the facts of the matter. I had heard the band was not allowing passage through, and heard also the gate to the park was closed? Is any of this true or am I hearing BS? Go up there most October’s. Thanks lads for any insight

Was this area not all part of the big land giveaway to the FN, or was it wore north/west?

What happens when citizens violate these access restrictions?

Thanks for the feedback. From some further reading it seems the protected area is still provincial management and is publicly accessible apparently anyway. I was more concerned that the road may be blockade before even crossing over the Fraser River. Anyone with anything also to add to this or fill in the gaps would be greatly appreciated.

I was there on the weekend, roads are still accessible but the camp spot on Churn Creek and both boat launches are gated. Called the number on the gate for access and was denied.

Tŝilhqot’in area.

Think it was this one? Or maybe "T'hatlan" spelling?
