I have the "Woods™ Real Tree™ Camouflage Camp Cot" from Canadian Tire. It's heavy steel and extra wide. It's rated for 300 lbs. PM me if you want to buy it, I don't use it and it's collecting dust.

X2. Huge cot. Get the pad for it from basspro and your set.

I have the big cabelas one. I find it's so wide the middle stretches and it's more like a hammock after a few days.

I switched to a hotel cot with a real mattress.

I bought the Outfitter XL, then traded it for a regular Outfitter as it was too big for me. I add a memory foam topper on top of the cot to make the cot more comfortable and decrease the hammock effect. I had issues with it being uncomfortably hard on my shoulders it was so tight, but I'm only 215-225lbs depending on the month.

You must be large and in charge.

I don't actually know my buddies weight. I'm 6'2" 200lbs and he's considerably bigger than me. I'm guessing setting him up with an at capacity bed could spell disaster. Thanks though.

The outfitters series from Cabelas sounds like the ticket. Hopefully he can budget it.

I've had the outfitter XL for a few years now - used for fishing and hunting outing in my contractor trailer. Damn fine little cot that doesn't leave me sore. I'm quite happy with it.

I work hard, but am over 6' and under 300 haha.

I find the smaller cots are better than the big ones.

But seriously, the hotel cots are the best. I always pack one in the enclosed trailer hunting camp or when we camp out of guys' shops. For boat trips I run the smaller cots now.

Bedside table is the bomb... another vote for the cabelas outfitter xl. 6 ft 2 and 260 here and best cot I have used so far.

I’m a side sleeper and cots just don’t do it for me. When I was young we used 6” high density foam on a tarp in our wall tents and slept incredibly well.(just make sure you won’t have any water coming in if it rains)

Cabelas Outfitter XL with a wool blanket down then a 3" cut to fit piece of memory foam, add a warm wood stove and a few beverage.....best sleeps EVER!

also the 300lb cabellas cot with the side pouches. I use a memory foam and am a side sleeper....as above, add woodstove and sleeping doesn't get any better!!!

I am 6'4" and 300+ and I have had a couple different ones, but latest is the outfitter XL nice and big in every direction. I use a 4" foamy and sleep like a log, also it is higher so easier to get in and out of

I have been as heavy as 270lbs and have enjoyed my browning XL cot. A cabelas pad and about 12 years use on it so far!

Little guy is wondering why dad broke the trampoline.

At 4:00am - were you getting in or getting out when you went through. With enough bevys that could be a downright mantrap to try get out of.

Wasn't my cot, but a very large man was sleeping on it. I could hear the seams pop every minute or two over the course of the night, I couldn't figure out what the sound was. Then POP POP POP POP CRASH..haha

Anyone have suggestions for a camp cot for a 300+ pound individual? 6 feet tall.

If youre interested I've got two I think they are older army cots ...wood frame with fabric.

I don't use them anymore so if you want to pay shipping I'd send them no charge for the cots...:)

I bought this one about ten years ago.

https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/cabelas-outfitter-xl-cot-with-pivot-arm

I am tall and broad and it has held up well. The most I've weighed is about 285 but I have not experienced any sagging or degradation. Good cot.

Certainly would recommend for larger chaps.
