Im planning a trip to Hudson Hope/Chetwynd for the last week of September first week of October for moose/elk/muley’s. Wondering if there is any closures in the area or areas to avoid all together! I would be new to the area/hunting and any information you could share if you have hunted here would be very appreciated! Thanks!!

Read the regs.
Stay off the private land.

As said, read the reg's and understand them completely.
Moose are bow only Oct 1 - 15. They also have antler restrictions.
Mule deer and elk also have restrictions.
It is your responsibility to know what is private, crown, or lease land.
Landowners up here don't take kindly to trespassers...

I'm looking for clarification on "The "agricultural area" (Map H11) in the vicinity
What are the restrictions in the this area?
Thank You

See the reg's for whitetail deer and elk. And of course map H11. It's there!
If you have the iHunter BC app you can get better map detail by going to the settings and selecting Show Elk LEH Zones and Show White-Tailed Deer LEH Zones.

Hi, yes I definitely understand the regulations and have a good idea of where the private land is as per my IHunter app. Are First Nations making access difficult in any Spots? Are some areas blown out/restricted due to construction sites/oil rig work? I like the availability of different species in the region but am willing to go elsewhere if this region is a problem. It’s a long drive if I can’t hunt anywhere. Thanks!

you will find lots of spots to hunt, no worries there

no FN roadblocks that i've heard of in that area...it will be busy with hunter traffic....some road systems are busy with industry traffic, a radio could be wise...roads can get greasy, a set of chains can be helpful but not absolutely required

Get the maps from McEllaney in FSJ. They will show ag crown lands etc. Have them couriered to you so you can read them before you go.

Is it worth it to bring an atv. I prefer to hike but I’m not sure what accessibility is like for just a truck. Thanks
