I haven't seen this posted in the General forum, and though it is a BCWF petition, EVERY hunter in the Province should use their site to send the form letter.

Rob Chipman has a few excellent posts in this (http://www.huntingbc.ca/forum/showthread.php?160380-British-Columbia%92s-Together-for-Wildlife-strategy&p=2196619#post2196619) thread, and here is the link to the "petition" that sends the form letter to your local MLA, MP and to Horgan.

Tell your government that you are NOT OK with anyone cutting off access to land that belongs to YOU and all of us.
Better yet, print and mail the letter, and phone your MP and MLA.

Thanks a lot to everyone! Over a hundred names were added to the count in a few hours after this post.
We all need to stay vigilant and up to date on changes coming down the pipe, as once your rights are gone, you rarely get them back.
I just got the follow up email from the BCWF:

Access to Crown Land - Update

In mid-August, the BCWF responded to a growing concern from members regarding blocked access to Crown land. Ensuring public access to recreational and outdoor activities, fish, wildlife resources and Crown land is one of the fundamental missions of the BCWF so with the full attention of the BCWF Board of Directors, a response plan was created to hold the government responsible for upholding the law and provide guidance to members who may be denied access.
Today, a response from the Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development was received stating that senior government officials have acknowledged their responsibility to address access restrictions and have informed us that they are working directly with First Nations governments on resolving the issues and are optimistic that a solution can be found.Thank you to the 900+ BCWF members who submitted letters to their government, sharing their concerns and expressing their passionate values about access to outdoor recreation and B.C's wild spaces. If you are heading out into the province's beautiful backcountry, please review the BCWF COVID and Outdoor Recreation Safety Guidelines (https://eml-pcan01.app.blackbaud.net/intv2/j/D5C18630-B0E1-44B9-B71B-43AABD165623/r/D5C18630-B0E1-44B9-B71B-43AABD165623_935aa62a-06eb-43b8-a8f0-1e6d20c07153/l/612E57B2-0A34-40CD-ABD3-3F247949569D/c).

Reply from my MLA:

Dear X,

Thank you for your email.

We understand and respect First Nation rights and their concern regarding COVID-19. But we also understand the right of British Columbians to hunt and to access Crown land.

The NDP has issued Limited Entry Hunting tags for hunts in British Columbia’s northwest and the entire province for the upcoming seasons. And that means the NDP has an obligation to hunters, who should not be refused access because John Horgan failed to properly engage with First Nations in order to find a solution.

Individuals should be able to access the Crown Lands for which they have been legally issued tags by government, while respecting and protecting indigenous communities from the potential spread of COVID-19. It’s the NDP’s responsibility to make sure this is accomplished.

Regards,
