Rocky Mountain Crossbow

Cabelas has the Rocky Mountain RM405 on sale for $300 with a $50 mail in rebate. Hell of a price for a starter. Any thoughts or experience with it. Will be hunting deer with it. Thx

Read the reviews on the cabelas ad for the crossbow, doesn’t I still a lot of confidence.
operating on a budget, this route may end up being expensive experience the spidey senses are telling me. Just my thoughts but I have 2 Excalibur’s with no regrets.

I second what tyreguy said. It might be okay, might not. I used to have a compound crossbow (tenpoint) it worked good for me at the time, got a couple bucks with it. I've since sold it and bought Excalibur as well and absolutely love it.
