Nanaimo's Pumpkin Shoot is on Oct. 18 - at the NFG.....

I know - not a good set of initials for a club, but they're stuck with them.

Hey timberhunter, is the start time still 9:30 a.m.? Gonna have the coffee and hot chocolate on?

I'm looking forward to the shoot and I know little "bs'er" is too. That's tiny BOWSITTER for the folks that don't know.

If the weather holds off for Sunday that'd be a bonus. But what the heck - I hunt in crappy weather, I might just as well target shoot in it too.

I want to improve on my outing (in the Compound Open class) that I had in Cowichan.

Yes the hot stuff will be on first thing in the morning. Registration starts at 8:30 am, shoot meeting at 9:30. 2 rounds as per usuall, including our nice steel pumpkin target.

oops, my bad. It's hell to get old(er) ya know. BS'er and myself will be there, and anyone else we can coerce (shame) into coming although I'll do my damndest to make sure that if they're shooting in my class they are worse shots than I am.

Sorta like grizzly hunting - go with a partner that runs slower than you do.
