View Full Version : Another "Shooting in the LML" thread

I have some friends coming from out-of-town that I want to take for a few hours of plinking/bbq on the weekend. I usually shoot at the local range but they don't allow guests due to COVID. I am in Coquitlam.

Any suggestions?

I looked at Norrish Creek, but that's pretty much completely closed. Chehalis is open it seems after a certain point, which seems like a viable option but I never paid attention to "safe" shooting areas there.

Seems like not every FSR is declared a no-shooting zone, but between all the various regs, are there ANY (legal) options at all in the LML?

Thanks for any advise other than "stop whining and shoot in 'da bush'".

And here I thought from the title that this was going to be about a couple of gang bangers doing a drive by shooting or drug turf wars.

Check the regs on shooting in the Chilliwack Valley, there’s no shooting from the roads.

Check the Fraser Valley shooting restrictions. There is a pretty cut and dry map. I will send you a PM.

If you want to do trap and skeet, it is open for guests at PCDHFC. There is one this Sunday.

unless legally hunting, you have to be 400m away from any FSR. you could potentially plink rabbits in the ditch.
