I got stuck that year too. Didn't know about the washout, could have come down on the Alaska Hwy. That sucked.

Drive BC says "
There will be SCHEDULED OPENINGS for single lane, alternating traffic, from 11:00am to 12:00 noon AND 2:00pm to 4:00pm on August 20th" Good luck sure hope this is cleared up by next Wednesday.

Anyone actually travel through this Mud Slide area in the last couple days, we are scheduled to travel through there next Thursday wondering how the clean up is progressing
I just spoke with someone at Lake District Maintenance. They were scheduled to have the road open from 11:00am until 4:00 pm with alternating traffic today but another slide has closed the road. He said cleanup to re-open a single lane won’t be bad, but they need a geotech to fly over the area before they can start work and as of now they’re grounded for weather.

I'm going through it every day in my ore truck. Waits aren't too bad. I think they are getting close to getting it wrapped up.
