Hello all, I won a goat draw for M.U. 6-09 Zone B. I thought I would put it out there in case anyone is willing to share some information with me, regarding the area and such. Feel free to shoot me a pm if you like. Thanks

Have you had any experience in this zone?

Not so much in the hunting aspect, been around the area tho and know a few family / friends that live there! Obviously if they had better info I would not need to ask as they are not much of hunters!

Looks for the white peaks on Google maps/earth. Go to the biggest ones and try to figure out how to access the area.

If you're looking now... you may be too late.

Have you hunted goats before?
How much hunting experience do you have?

You're coming in with hot questions being new to the forum. Some background could maybe help us help you.

Pretty quick bit of research on google earth and online should get you started pretty well. Driven past those mountains a few times and always wondered what was up there, just never put glass to it.

If I was going in, I'd try the Cedarvale trail into the alpine and the world is your oyster from there, goodluck.

I am very new to goat hunting! My first kick at the can anyways! Much more experience with black tail / mule deer, bear and such! Hunt lots on the island and when I can with family in the interior!

Thanks for the info, I’ll look into that! Pretty much the plan! Lace up the hiking boots lol

Pretty much the tougher hunts in some of the most tougher parts of the province. Lots of goats though limited to very small regions.
