Anybody getting any indication of Grouse action this fall in any of these areas?

with the wet weather we have had here, I suspect the survival of the chicks to be lower.. That said, starting to see a few around now.

I have been out a few times on UTV and going to lakes to make some casts and I have not seen any grouse I was thinking should have been plenty out by now, but nothing

wet cold June = poor chick survival.

Yea I’m going to go with a low year as well, this time last year I was seeing little ones all over the place.. haven’t even seen an adult in a couple weeks..
it’s a shame as grouse is some of my favourite table fare !

Been out and about in R#8 and have seen very few.

Blues seem to be doing OK in 3 and 8, ruffed and spruce not so well.

Been out and about quite a bit this summer. I've seen a few grouse here and there but no covies of notable size. I suspect what was said in earlier post, the wet spring and wet summer were very hard on the young
