Hey All,

I know the calibre could generate some discussion, but either way, it was the most amazing experience and really got me hooked. We recently uncovered our first hunting footage ever, so here it is, my first successful elk hunt:

Thanks for sharing another great video!
This will get us all pumped for the season. Btw, my wife hunts too and shoots a 7x57. Sadly, no cool videos yet lol.

Ah Rose you posted on here again great. That was a awesome video i would just love to hear a elk scream like that it would be so cool and then to finally shoot it with a 243 way to go girl.
I really like watching your videos. The girls building up the jeeps and going thru the mud holes to get to that lake.
And congradulations on your daughters engagment.

Excellent. Pretty good quality footage for being 11 years ago! So I lucked in & got an Elk LEH on the island November. I'll be joined by my 2 buddies that I was on a successful moose LEH with a couple years ago south of Vanderhoof. They both live on the island, so I'll be the one making the longer trip this time....

Always love your videos, thanks for sharing.
With your shot placement that bull would have died with a 223

Great video, and excellent shot placement.

I'm surprised at the super quick kill, but seeing the heart that Barnes bullet did a great job even out of a 243!
