Theres somethin about the apline that is just so amazing. Spent two days scouting the alpine last week and found just what I was lookin for, deer, space, not a quad or truck in sight.

I enjoyed alpine hunting when I did it, but now with only one mule deer permitted in region 3 and 8 where I'd go alpine hunting I'd hesitate to shoot one in the first week of September and ruin the rest of my hunting season.

Now if I can find a hike-in alpine spot in region 2.....
