just got back from moose hunting in 7-10, saw 36 moose 4 bulls, got 3 bulls and a calf, but man i have never sean animals so spoocked , and not much for sighn either. lots of wolf sighn, dont know if they pounded it , or maybe a bad winter.

I just got back from 7-12/7-13 not much moose sign either, and the ones we did see were on the run for no apparent reason. Lots of wolf and coyote sign? We bagged 3 mulies and one calf.

Maybe your really loud and you smell like wolves:-D. Or it could be that Region 7 gives out an alarming number of draws (160ish:? in 7-10). Combine that with a calf season and any buck season and I think I would be on the run too.

36 moose wow i live in 7-10 and know the area so well and have never seen that many in a short period of time, how long were you there for?

we were there from october 5-15, most was along the 7-11 , 710, and 5-13 boarder. saw only 3 cows with calves.
