Well i would first just like to thank everyone for all the helpful suggestions and advice put on this site. The amount of knowledge i have gained reading these threads the past 9 months or so has probably accelerated my learning curve by probably 5 years, so thanks again. I found that anytime i had a question that there were several references i was able to source from on this site, which is part of the reason i havent posted on this site before, the other being that just having really gotten back into hunting last fall going out with my dad and some friends for the first time since i was a kid, i didnt really know all that much. Last fall was great as i was in on a couple nice bull elk in the cranbrook area and a nice whitetail, so needless to say i was pumped for this year, and had been waiting for september since then. I put in for cow elk in 421x and got the draw and after hunting bulls for a couple weeks unsuccesfully i decided to take a cow as my time in cranbrook was coming to an end. I got back to kamloops last weekend and after a few days here decided to head out looking for the elusive 2 point moose and some muley bucks. I spent 4 days glassing/hiking/driving the greenstone area seeing no moose whatsoever, a couple does, and 2 bucks, one 3x4 while still hunting the very first afternoon, that startled me as much as i think i startled him, haha and on the last morning i decided to see if that 3x4 had headed back to the same area as the first day when i came across a nice 4x4 looking right at me as i was walking in to a cutblock on an old skidder trail, well as soon as he turned his head i gave him a shot in the neck and he fell like a stone, not the biggest buck, but for my first i am more than happy, now i just gotta try and find one of those moose before the end of the month and try to get a nice whitey. oh both were 30-06 rem 710 with 180 gr winchester fail safes with 48.0 gr of 4064, hand loaded, it kinda makes it a little more special i found. i am trying to get pics on here but, they are about 2.3MB and seeing that im a bit of a computer illiterate it might take a bit till i can figure out how to shrink them down. Thanks to all again, as about the only thing you guys didnt help me with was the packing out.

That way works just fine. You can also copy the [IMG] code line if you wish for the pic to actually show up on the board.

Great first buck! congrats
