I can't seem to find any Canadian retailers.... where did you buy yours?

I have bought a few on EBay out of the US, but of course back then you could cross the border and pick it up at your parcel service.

Then you have come back and self isolate for 14 days or else Justin and Dr.Tam will hunt you down .......................................

I buy a lot of this sort of gear from Charlie, at Bear River Outfitters in Utah, phone 1435-764-1111, tell him Dewey sent you. I have never found a dealer who is better to deal with and highly recommend both Valandre and Charlie.

Fair, but while you do you'll sleep like a baby in your new sleeping bag :-)

Can the Valande sleeping bag be compared to the Taiga Works system?

I am just about to buy and would prefer to buy Canadian if possible, but want the quality and packability of this product.

Thanks

From what I have seen, Valande is a step up in quality, but I ended up going with Taiga Works for the fact that they are locally made and not such a pain to purchase. I had one for many years and loved it, now i got one with better temp rating and so far... love it. This winter will tell what that puppy can do....

Valandre, Western Mountaineering, Feathered Friends and PHD, these are THE finest down bags made today and Taiga, MEC, etc. do not come close. I have owned and used all of these, except for PHD, and base my opinions on that.
