The Fraser river fishery is in extreme trouble and it should be closed to everyone

Agreed, however the group with the least impact on the salmon is the group that is entirely shut out of the fishery until Nov 1st... pending any updates.

And yet there will be some commercial openings, and the group with the highest in river impact can once again 'fish' without restriction.

... and the group with the highest in river impact can once again 'fish' without restriction.

That group has been gill and drift netting the most endangered runs the Fraser has all spring.
With DFO's blessings.
They are the main reason every one else is shut down.
And they are fishing aggressively to ensure they will maintain sole access.

It is over... :-(

And because of our spineless governments, nobody will step forward to make light of the real reason the Fraser stocks are damned and no news agency will broadcast it. Where are all the anti’s on this subject??? Complete bullshit, all accountability is out the window. Sad times.
