Tripod question

Looking to buy a good lightweight tripod. What do you use? Like don't like? Thx

It will depend on what you are putting on top. For me I’m using bino 10-42 and a 50mm spotter. I’m doing long backpack trips so weight really matters. I ordered a kdc granite peak it’s still in the mail. It’s super light weight but there are some sacrifices when going this lite.

Ya will need to go with something larger then the kdc for that kind of weight. Slik 634 is popular, outdoorsman are nice but pretty pricey.

Sirui t-024sk, with either the VA5 pan head or B-00K ball head depending on your preference. Precision optics has them with the ball head. Not cheap, but a great tripod.
