Yukon - Quarantine status

Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody had contacted the Yukon authorities regarding their quarantine orders.


will BC residents apart from the Atlin area be allowed to go into Yukon and then back into northern BC? I did see on the website they allow 24 hours for in transit but that could be tricky.

Thought I Would ask here before calling them...maybe somebody already went through the process 😊

Not at this point. No real indication when the "non-essential" travel ban will be lifted. Currently (I suspect) you will get turned around at the border- who knows by August.

Yeah I called their office and its too early to tell when they would lift the border restrictions.

Currently Hunting is classified as leisure and even if I was transiting for less than 24 hours, they could send me back home.
