I found this set of sheds at work this week. My two point in the other thread was heavier but this guys frame and time length are crazy for a 2x3 blacktail

Great find! I never take a trip specifically to find sheds but I'm always looking while I'm in the woods. In many years of searching that way I've only ever found one set, still on the skull of a bull elk up Dead Dog Creek. There was a tree over the elk's neck but I couldn't ascertain for sure that he died from the tree falling on him.

I found one last year with 5" bases on it

... link didnt work. I'll post off the PC tomorrow. It's the fattest BT shed I've seen yet.

Would've been a 130" or so buck. Hard to tell the rodents got to it first.

I've done some shed hikes for BTs and never found any. All the blacktail sheds I have were picked up while hunting and in most cases when I'm about to step on it.

They so not really stick out in that jungle type terrain. Definitely needles in a haystack
