I took anice muley buck a couple of years ago ,grossed 187 5/8 and netted 187 5/8 , 4 x 4 absolutely symetrical , scored by BC RECORDS in latest hard cover TROPHY DEER of B.C. , I also took a mule deer buck last NOV in region 7-20 that is 8 x 8 non typical 2 drop tines, one on each side , measures about 32" wide but it hasn't been officially scored yet, yeh its nice to have BIG BUCKS and still be broke!!! I like your deer, good trophy, they are a good hunt, Good Luck to you this year!

He's got some decent Mass no doubt but short in the tine length..plus the lack of G1's really hurts the score..............if one cares about such things:rolleyes:

My buck scored 198 gross, 195 2/8 official, made the "Boone & Crocket all time books" and ranked as the "#25 typical muley" in the history of the B.C. record books in 2005. i shot him on nov.15, 2004. Twas a great day for me! :lol:

here is my best archery buck. about 160ish but not the biggest buck I have taken. on the farm as boys my brothers and I have shot some big deer and when we moved from the farm to the acreage we through the antlers out. if we only knew. dad said he wasn't waisting space in the moving trailer for stuff like that.

It is in the BC record books and it netted 177,5/8 it only had 3 points deducted from it ,was shot in the hills around headly BC.

I can pick him up anytime now just waiting for suitable cape.
I will have him in the Lumby buck derby in Jan. for scoring.

He is 32" outside but weak in tine length if you want to eyeball a guess score.
I threw in my biggest whitetail I got on Friday, hes not book but I'm proud of him

My younger brother took this big Mulie - game citter estimated 330 lbs. on the hoof. Rack not measured but a handsome animal.

He was with several does who were totally disinterested in the one shot. They just walked off.

Unfortunately, the Buck was not mortally wounded and it was a cold 7 1/2 hours later before he was in the truck.

Best tasting Mule Deer we have ever had.

It was originally a 30-30 when I bought it 14 years ago for my son when he turned 10 years old.

When he got a little older he wanted a bit more reach/power so I sent the barrel down to Mike Bellm in Oregon.

Mike apprenticed under PO Ackley.

He rechambered it to his wildcat called 308Bellm I use 444 Marlin brass necked down with 308 Win dies then trim for length no fireforming is needed.

I load up with Rem 150gr Core Loks or Hornady 150gr SST's @ 2600 fps from the 21" barrel these loads usually give me 2" X 2 1/4" 3 shot 200 yard groups.

Rifle weighs around 5 1/2 lbs with the laminate stocks and 5 lbs with the factory rynite stocks...
