Well we are home from up north as well quite a dissappointment over all we went through a game check just north of pink mountain fortunately enough while we were heading up so we got the scoop. The co's told us things looked shitty up there this year they had seen only 2 moose coming down apparently the ticks last year a long with the tough winter wasnt just a rumor, i was told 60% of the moose and at least 40% of the deer didnt make the winter. The only thing that faired well was the Buffalo which we did get 2 of but there was hardly a track of anything else, we talked to guys that had been in thr area for 12-15 days and had nothing. Well after alot of work on the Buffalo and a bit of scouting we decided to pull out and head south to kamloops for our shared hunt we were lucky enough to draw on moose, and it paid off we shot a nice 38inch bull after calling him out in the morning then again at night for the final time. That area is great we saw tons of moose and deer and so close to home was the real treat. If i can figure it out i will post some pics.

Nice Job, Curt. What unit were you on for the buffalo? I'm heading up on the 5th of Nov to 7-57B

we were in zone b are you going around pink moutain in through native land or further north we were off chicken creek its a faif bit of work but worth it you can get to the herds from quad only they are around 20km in reasonably decent trails if you need more info let me know
