I shouldn't bitch cause today was my first attempt at a moose this year. I went out for a look this morning to an area that has held some moose in the past. On the way up I managed to get a chicken and scare a few others :oops: , for sport of course. Seems I must be getting older or something because I swear the road was brand new just a couple of years ago. Now its only quad wide, global warming I guess . Anyway I walked in about 3km to a block that I like to visit. There was some sign in the old snow and an old rub.

I screwed around and did my best to scare anything in the area. I spooked one muley buck which was a little far for a decent pic. I decided to head back to the truck and check some other areas. I had just started down the road and there was a truck parked half way up a hill, nobody around . Another hundred yards down the road and this fella was stumbling along.

No way I could make him a two point so I made my way down the road. Might give it another go tomorrow.
