Well just got back from PG , alot of rain , it rained 12 days straight and hard , really screwed up the moose rut , they didn't really start rutting hard till the very last day . Other then the rain the hunt was still very enjoyable . We managed to bag a pretty decent bull , wasn't the biggest one we saw but good for the area . This lady that shot this animal was one of the toughest ladies i have seen , we got her up to about 30 yards from this moose and she put 3 shots right through the boiler room then he went down . When we first spotted him he was in a cut and about 50 yards from him was one of the biggest Grizzlies we had saw , i guess the moose must have heard the grizzly scraping the ground and came out in the cut for a look.

The bull measured 56.5 inches across ,saw alot of decent bulls this year , 3 had broken off antlers . Ya just gotta love moose hunting ...

Great bull! If it was me I'd want to have my face in the pic not blacked out like that. What's the reason for the blacked out face?

No , a little nearving going back to get the moose out , it's funny the girl who shot the moose , last year she shot a moose in the Yukon and i guess when they went back to get the moose they were within 50 yards of the moose and the girl saw something coming through the tall grass at her so she raised her rifle and put down a huge grizz , 2 shots . I guess the grizz claimed her moose but she wasn't gonna have any of that , i told you guys she is one tough son of a gun.

Nice spread though for the prince area , The girl was going for goat but we got snowed out so we got her a good moose .
