Thought you all might like to see the whitetail buck my son shot this fall. He killed it about 15 miles south of the Saskatchewan border here in northcentral Montana up at the farm.. He got some good footage of the buck on his trail cam in the shelterbelt by the farm, but had never seen it in daylight. The next to the last day of the season he spotted it in a coulee by a stubblefield and was able to put it down.. This buck is 25 1/2" wide and scored 165 4/8". I've killed a lot of big bucks over the year, but this one tops my biggest!!!

Thanks all... We have some good hunting around here with a lot of nice bucks. Not quite the caliber they take in Western Canada as far as top end bucks go, but close. We had a good year. We both filled our doe tags, my son killed a cow elk, and I killed an antelope buck and a nice 21" 4X4 whitetail buck.. The freezer is full (along with some walleye and pheasants)!!! I saw one of the biggest Muleys I've seen in years but he was on private land that is closed to hunting. I saw him a week earlier where I had permission to hunt, but it was right at last light and he was too far to make a stalk..we'll over 30" wide, which is a rarity around here...
