Maps - digital - BackRoads or E-Topo

[One Shot]

Has anyone used both or either one or the the digital maps from Backroads or E-Topo? I have been looking at both. ETopo is supposed to have a demo CD but the store was out. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

i have the cd, and found it no diffrent then the map book, i look stuff up on the cd and them mark it in my map book, on witch ever page. it seams a bit easer to see it on the computer then you can find it in the book,,,i think the book is the best deal because you can take it with you out hunting, the cd is good to check out hunting spots while at home in the evening when playing on the computer,,, good luck..

I have Etopo for Southwest BC and find it good for use with the computer and gps. Then if you want you can print your map. Also have other maps on cd and they are all the same,print when you need it. Or get the books and save on the printer.
