That pisses me off that a beauty of an animal is left to rot like that , just a bloody shame !!
I would love to apply for a hunt up there but it seems that it would be very expensive with the logistics involved . Hope they find the culprit that did that .

Well, I know my buddy took his in 2017 (he got the leh that year)
I heard some rumours about one person being investigated, but my understanding it was on another matter by the CO's.
Never heard of this one laying dead in the creek that year.

Anyways, I wont speculate any further.
Sad to hear that.
I am sure "poaching" is somewhat easy I suppose to be honest up there.
The only difficulty is "getting in there".
But, there are many folks with jetboats these days.
Pretty remote area and easy place to do bad stuff without worrying about having eyes on you.

Buddy did have his game cam stolen that year in there just before he was able to hunt and was scouting it out.
