Grizz Track

This is a grizz track that Daycort and I stumbled on while we were bowhunting for elk earlier this fall. Where this bear is there are no permits. It had been using a cattle trail to get to an oat field and from the looks of the trail it had been in there all summer. The tracks were so fresh that they were in the frost that appears just as the sun starts peeking over the horizon. I just finished cleaning my pants after that day.......... and nightmares...thanks for making me relive that hahahaha. yes that is one big g-bear track.

Wow, looks like a whopper. There are some huge grizz in the oats.

My buddy was in on a 8 1/2+ footer this spring and Ray Jackson also put the hurt on a whopper of a bear in this fall in the oat fields. No measurements but looking at the pictures he's a dandy - maybe over 9.:biggrin:
