Tempting... but not worth it.

Just heard on the radio that a hunter was 'detained' by residents (while waiting for RCMP and CO) after shooting a deer on North Fork Road in Cherryville. This is a residential road and is on a school bus route. That just goes to show that no matter how tempting the buck may be... it's just not worth it!! I wonder what the repurcussions of this will be... any thoughts?

I think he got dinged $700 or something like that. Maybe if he lost his guns and truck and license he'd think even harder about why it's against the law to shoot a deer on the pavement, especially around houses and kids. :???:
