I am interested in doing an overnight trip up to somewhere around 100 mile house that has some burbot to target at night. Thinking of setting up an outfitters tent on the ice and chase kokanee/lakers/rainbows in the day and hopefully Burbot when it gets dark. I am from Vernon so do not know of what lakes will be good up in that neck of the woods.

Why not stay close to home....sugar, ok, and Mabel hold good burbot numbers. I gather there are a few lakes around Merritt that hold burbot as well.

Okanagan Lake has burbot, some years through the ice at the north end, other years just open water
