I guess the backlog from the printer issue is done. Other than that it's been pretty darn fast with the online system. 6 days might be some kind of record. Awesome to hear!

Well, congrats. My wife's PAL application (not renewal) is still in the works after 9 months...

Just talked to the firearms officer, they informed me that after having my renewal for 60+ days that it is going to take some time to complete. My licence expires Jan 11 and I must keep my firearms locked up after that date. I did ask why there are renewal being done in less then 10 days and she informed me that they have never renewed a licence in less then 4 weeks. Such a load of crap. Has anyone won the appeal process or gone through the process

I get why they want the initial process to take a while, totally understandable. What is frustrating is the lack of communication after 9 months of waiting. They don't tell you "oh we have concerns", or "We forgot about you", "it could take another year", etc. They simply don't tell you ANY thing. "We cannot give out information on the process"

Wife wants to get her CORE, but not knowing if she gets her PAL or not and when makes this tough.

Something in the air...

Fastest transfer of a Restricted I have ever seen.
Applied yesterday afternoon, and had the completed transfer in hand at 9:00 am this morning.

Could have knocked me over with a feather...

Cheers,
Nog
