To buy / borrow /

I've been looking for a set of v-bar chains to fit 16" truck wheels, in the Prince George area without any luck. [purchase or loaner] Needed by the 24th of October for late season hunting till end of November.

I thought that chains would be one of the prerequisites for living out in Giscombe.

Bought mine from Midway Tire in Aldergrove. They seemed to be the place that all the other stores recomended.

I don't leave home without the V-320s in the loadbox. They've saved my bacon many times.

The last time I inquired about the cost of new chains I think the quote was around $250 for a pair..[choke-gag]:shock:so really looking for an inexpensive used set...we have paved roads that come within 1/4mile of the house in Giscome so we can usually just manage with 4x4. [a ford might have trouble but the chevy does OK]

Look in the Buy and Sell. I picked up a brand new set for 60 bucks. The things have never been on a tire:mrgreen: The guy bought them for his truck and never used them then a year later buys a new truck that has 17 inch tires. These for for a 16 inch.

I see them quite often for around that price.
