Is that a woods brand tent ? I have fond memories camping with my old man in that tent....I need to bring it out and use it with my boys now that I see this picture.

Nice to see you still using your father's tent Wayne.

I regret lending my Woods tent like that to someone who put it away wet in the 70's. He was dumb, I was dumber for lending it to him.

That sucks big time the person you lent it to he or she should had nowien that you have to dry out the tent when you get home or it will rot ,,sad thing..

Had one in orange it was a Pioneer brand . Sadly I put it away damp once and it was covered in black mould the next time I pulled it out . Lesson learned !

They haven’t made anything like they used to in my entire lifetime. Companies used to have pride in what they make now they don’t have one iota of pride in anything they produce, money hungry sub human degenerates.

I probably spend a third of my income annually only supporting local quality business, from furniture to food, you won’t catch any disposable made in China shit in my house unless there is absolutely no alternative IE game console. We buy our furniture from Mennonite and hudderites, as well as any additional food we need.

That looks similar to the one my buddy has. His only complaint is the windows only tie shut and it’s pretty drafty. That’s an easy fix for a hunting tent though. He could easily see them shut

They don't make anything like they used to.True that, I have a deep freezer that is 51 years old, runs quiet and it has never been in a shop. Was bought at Eatons.

My Dad has that same one in orange. That old tent has seen Many, many moose trips up north! He calls it a wall tent, I’m not sure what it is haha just a good solid tent!

A few companies still take pride in their work and make amazing products, the problem is their products cost a fortune. To survive in our economy you need to sacrifice quality for affordability or make high quality and sacrifice affordability.

Eureka still makes some decent tents but I find the materials are cheaper as everyone wants value and light weight..just look at the rifles these days compared to some of the heavy clubs that sit in the back of our safes
