Ive had black bears come in while calling elk.

We were hunting up by the nation a few years back and came across two hunters that were shakin up a bit, apparently they were calling (moose) and heard something in the bushes thrashing, so they thought it was a bull and lone and behold, a grizz comes out charging straight at them full tilt, so they stood up waved their arms and the grizz pulled off, but damn scary!

A few years back had a black bear come in while I was calling elk. Dumb bear, had a tag for him too! He made great eatin' ;-}
