so im heading out tommorow to mu 3-46 and i was just wondering if there was any reali easrly successes. or jsut a little bit of info on were to hunt in that area.

Your best bet is to go out to your truck and slam your balls in the door 3 or 4 times. That'll be about as gratifying as a 3-46 moose hunt in October.

Get a boat out on the lake. There are some areas of lake shore that are prime moose areas..Calling from the boat in the evening will help you out a lot.
Outside of bringing up a boat, you are wasting your time.

Wasn't there just a thread on here last week about moose advice for 3-46??? Question for those putting in for this hunt, do you guys do any research before you send those cards away????? Hell, the ministry finally put a disclaimer in the LEH regs about that draw. Are those draw odds just too tempting? You just blew your odds to draw for the next 3 years for the chance to hunt a unit that hands out 80 tags with an average of 3-5 moose killed a year. Sounds like fun eh?
