http://www.65grendel.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=14936&d=1573515786&thumb=1Rattled in this buck at about 10 o'clock this morning.Wacked him with my 6.5 Grendel at about 80 yards. Was trying for a heavy 5 pointer I saw earlier but this guy came in instead.
A perfect morning to call.3" of snow on the ground, lots of tracks around and about -11C and nice and still.I just love speaking the language of the wild kind.

Nice work, Ill be out rattlin for some whitetails this week, in region 3, see what shows up. Ill be shooting a Grendel as well, what ammo/bullet were you shooting? My handloads using a Hornady 123 SST going 2625FPS.Those bullets do a very good job.The heart was pretty much cut in half with a 2 finger exit hole out the ribs on the off side.
What rifle and load do you carry?

Great work. I too use the Grendel and have taken two deer with it using the the 123 eld-m. The cartridge works great on deer.
thanks for sharing your hunt

Yes,I agree.Calling in animals and birds is really fun.Shooting is part of the completed deal but not always.
