Hi folks - I'm looking to find a decent shooting range in the Vernon area. It's my understanding that the Vernon Fish & Game club may be losing it's range?...? Area there other places in the area one can safely go to get some target practice in? I understand Lumby has a range, as well as Armstrong but I don't know where they are.

Hi Sharkey
The Armstrong Range is on Power house Rd you can contact Tm at the Outdoor store for details. Vernon fish and Game is still located on the Commonage rd You will need to be a member and get a key from Del Selin Gunsmith. The Cherryville range is out on Heckman Creek. The turn is just past the Gold panner cafe on Hwy 6. Sorry I do not have contact details but I am sure if you ask at the local outdoor stores and gun shop they will be able to provide more information. There is also a range on the back Falkland rd in Westwold. The Ocola Range on Beaver Lake rd and the Trap Range right opposite Pleasant valley turn off on Hwy. 97 north.
Cheers
