My 2019 Antelope, along with my 83 year old friend that is an inspiration for a very long hunting future!
We pre scouted for 2 days before the opening of the season. Many miles and alot of glassing, produced a few good bucks. ( this buck was spotted in a little hole that could only be seen from about 2 miles away).
On opening morning, we waited for legal light and then headed down the fence line. As we cleared the quarter line, we spotted a few does. The buck was lying about 50 yards down the draw from the does.
The Buck stood up at 169 yards, in what seemed like a heart beat, My 300WSM went off and there lie the fullfillment of a 12 year quest.
Thanks to All that made this dream come true!
Update... green scored at 79 and change!!!
