Region 5 : ANOTHER BUCK DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!

Just came back from region 5 , 2 day hunt. The first day not much deer to be seen, second day was the same until the last 2 hours of hunting. Figured i go and take my ATV for another round around the area. Before coming home, i saw a buck on the hill side and started stalking him. Approached about 200 yards+ towards him. Didn't want to risk scaring the buck so i stopped approaching and decided to shoot it. The first shot he stumbled and was still walking. Thought i missed so i sent him a second shot dropping him RIGHT ON HIS FEET. Was using a 7mm wsm 140 graim ballistic tip. Wasn't the biggest buck but I was very happy with it and the performance of my rifle. Here are some pictures of my hunting trip.

Highcountry, Very nice buck from 100 mile. They are tough to find up there. Good for you for getting such a nice one.

Most of region 5 that I hunt is closed to ATV's. Especially hard hit in other areas(like Churn Creek) caused the closure years ago. Range we hunt does not heal from a vehicle track for years. I've seen the same truck tracks for 10 years in one spot (driven when raining) in spite of signs to stay on the road. You have an awesome buck there. I'm sure you were not in 5-3, and I hope you have many more great trips.
