Bought a trail cam (treebark) in early July 07. Put it along a trail I thought would produce but after a month of only 2 bear pics, I decided to move it. Must have been a good move because now every time I go back the camera is full. Full of elk, bear, deer and moose. Think I'm going to have to reset the camera from 10 second intervals to 2 min plus intervals.
Here is some of the more interesting pics from it. It is also a Infra red model/flash so I haven't changed the color on all them yet.

I use a treebark camera. They have a web site. http://www.treebarkcameras.com/ I wanted the infra red model as worried about spooking animals. The elk have hung around as long as 1hr and 15 mins and the camera kept clicking (very quietly). Then it ran out of card space. Maybe it was the salt block I used to keep them there. They are a great unit but on the higher price end of trail cams but definately worth every penny of 560$. I bought this one because of the reviews it got. I liked that it will still operate at -35 which is a big concern up here but wouldn't be from further south. The part I also liked was it was Canadian made in Edmonton. It arrived in box and all I had to do was attach it to tree and turn it on.

I have to change the color on infra red pix but the wife is better at that than I.

Those photos are awesome! When you see bears like that - just hangin out and havin a scratch - it gives them peronalities for sure.

isn't strange that the small bull elk is not in Velvet?
Maybe he is and it just looks like he's rubbed off??

Nice pics, yeah looks like that cow was grabbed by a cat.
Seems to me they're heading for the water, if thats a natural underground spring, you've found a honey hole.
Get your tree stand up early :)
