Decent Fixed Power .22 Scope

Looking to get a decent quality fixed power ( 4 x ?? ) scope for Son In Law's Marlin .22.
Will be mounted on see thru's so he can use the iron sights for close grouse and bunnies and the scope for more distance.
Any recommendations ??

Depends on what you are going to use it for and the range...nothing wrong with a Bushnell 4x rimfire scope for typical sub 50 yard small game hunting and casual plinking

i put a Leupold v2 4x9x40 and that is the cats ass
that gun is a tack driver
