So a couple of my Buddies have been scouring southern Alberta for a Muley worthy of consideration for my Partner's first bow hunt run over there. They have found a few, and perhaps even a whitetail worthy of looking at...

In the meantime, they wandered home a couple days back, only to find this handsome lad on a neighbor's front lawn:

Apologies for the poor quality, all he had on him was his ancient cellphone, but you get the idea.
And yeah, I've already offered to bring over my long tow rope!!

Partner has been shooting a lot, and come a long way in a short period.
Broadhead testing yesterday (after dozens of field point trials) was excellent.
Very tight groups all the way from 30 through 100 yards. This man is READY!

All that remains is us getting him within range of a good one now.
Cross the fingers for us that the Goddess of The Hunt shines a little our way this go!

Rolling Friday, back in November...

Best of Luck to all still holding tags!

Cheers,
Nog

Yup, Yup and Yup.
He ain't all that far from the edge of the town he is in.
Was kinda thinking that someone walking a rather large Rotty might entice him to wander outside of the security line...

As much as I'd like to, it's too much like "cheating" in my books.
I'll take my chances on the River...

Best of Luck with the Coulee Crawl!
I'll be looking up at them from the jet rig soon.

Cheers,
Nog
