View Full Version : Looking for a Butcher or Cooler in 100Mile House Area

We have a shared hunt that starts oct 15 till oct 31.If we are lucky enough to get something we might need to get it butcherd or even just to hang untill our trip is done. Any info is greatly appriciated.

Findlay meats in 100 mile is one option...they have an ad in the hunting regs.

+1 for Butcher Bobs you definately won't be disappointed, Just make sure your meat is clean, and well cared for.

Another for Butcher Bob's.....inlaws in that area have been using him for years....nothing but good things to say !

I am new to hunting and got a 2 point mulie in Lone Butte.After gutting and skinning and not being from the area, people recommended Findlay Meats in 100 Mile or Butcher Bob's in Forest Grove. Butcher Bob's did it for $53 @96 pounds hanging weight in 1 day. Quite the learning curve for me once that deer was down. Shot it half hour before dark and was surprised just how much work it was to drag in complete darkness 1 Km through the bush, but I'm definately hooked. I was relieved after all that work to find such a good butcher the next day.

.243 Winchester 95grain ballistic tip Nosler with 40grains H4350 at about 180 yards. Now I know I can put meat in the freezer!
