4-4/4-3 elk

I was just wondering if anyone has been in the area 4-4 or 4-3 as a couple of us will be going down on the 5th to set up camp. just wondering if there is any snow on the ground yet , or if anyone has spotted anything in the area?

My buddy has been in 4-04 since the opening has seen only illegal bulls so far, I am flying in there on the 5th to hook up with him for a week, then heading to 6-09 to fill a moose tag. We have had success in the Moyier lake area before but got a feeling it's getting pretty over hunted now, Lamb creek used to also be a great spot, where you headed anyway?

4-03 is better thab 4-04, snow only at high elevations, still warm, lots of white tails.

can't go wrong with either spot...

Just have to put in time and keep movin if you don't see/hear them... they are around!!

i'm thinking around teepee gold creek area we seen an old buck up there that seems to be smarter then the average elk.Just hoping to get in there as they start getting stupid. well i'm leaving port Coquitlam on the 5th have to pick up a guy in trail then heading down on the 6th to set up camp and maybe shoot some thing on the way in lol
