I am looking for where I can buy/order a M70 Extreme Weather SS (338win). I have spent a lot of time looking online and many stores seem not to carry model 70s. Does anyone knows where I could possibly order or purchase one?

New or used they are hard to find and usually go for top $$$. Lots around in 30/06,300WSM and 300 Win. I had the itch for one a few years ago and Clay @ Prophet River contacted the Distributor for Canada and there were none to be had. Only option was to import. If you do find one, buy it because it will go quickly!

I ordered that through CT in Jan 2016, not sure when it ever did show up. I ended up buying a used one. What is the price on it?

I’m not surprised to know it’s still sitting on the shelf.

I went there (Langley CT) hoping to find a 243 Extreme Weather. The 264 was on sale for I believe $1169. I bought my 7-08 there for $1149 two maybe three years ago; they ordered it in for me.

Langley CT doesn't have that .264 anymore - they SOLD it this morning.

I have seen and heard of more Extreme weathers move through that place than any other, there have been two or three in their gun cabinet at a time over the last couple years. Not sure where they are getting them because I inquired at quite a few other shops and was told they could t get them....

For anyone interested in getting one I would recommend giving them a call. Hope they can pull though for me again!

Hey Reiber do I get a finders fee ? Lol . I shouldered that puppy months ago it was very nice! Stock was quite thick for me . They have some nice rifles at the CT in Langley !

I didn't feel the stock too thick for me but I have big mitts. I'm used to 22" barrels - this one is long at 26"

Hmmm - maybe that stock will fit my .280? Maybe I just leave it in the box this year.

Maybe I should start keeping my eyes open for reloading dies and brass, and a scope.

I was employed by the Langley CT for a year and a half and did the ordering of firearms and specialty ammo there in 2015/2016. I ordered a ton of M70’s during my time there.

For a Canadian Tire I thought they had a good selection of firearms . Are CT franchises ? As some CT have firearms and others none , anyone know why ? Is CT owned by Marks ?

I have been a Winchester fan since I first held one. Having shot mostly post 64s as my main rifles. I picked up a new Extreme weather in 270 win. Handling characteristics are amazing, and the action is super smooth, feeding beautifully. First trip to the range after a rough zero, it put the first three Barnes 130gr ttsx into a single hole at 100m. No tinkering needed just to go hunting.
