Well, I have explored the roads (and connecting FSR) extensively for 5 days last week, and saw a sign about the screws/nails (ironically on the way down). However, I didn't encounter any of that, the road was in good condition and pretty much litter (and screw/nail) free. Actually, one of the better FSRs I have driven in a while.

Drove a few times last fall and a bunch of us this spring for the wild Sheep Society sheep count and heard of no one getting any nails or screws.
Send me a PM if you need more info.

Are we talking about the Murray creek FSR just outside of Spence’s Bridge?

Yes I believe so with the nails and screw comments. Haven’t been up there in a while but haven’t heard anymore updates , maybe no news is good news.
