Bridge Lake August Long Weekend

Was camped at Bridge Lake for the August Long Weekend, the weather was awesome' the company was great and the fishing was good, lol.....

Wes's mom Jamie is still going strong turned 13 in March and did a 8km mountain bike ride the same week. Just to give you fair warning I saw Wes's grandfather last month he has to be close to 18 and he still looked good.

Nice pics - spent our honeymoon at Bridge lake in a family friend's waterfront cabin, almost 50 years ago.
Wife caught a beautiful, large trout, I got a trophy wife. :mrgreen:

Those are mighty fine looking fish.
We had a cottage on Bridge Lake for many years. Caught a lot of dandy fish, both Rainbow
and Lakers. Haven't fished it since we sold out around 82-3. Went by there a few times
since and am dismayed by the all the subdivisions now built there where deer, moose,
and bear used to a common sight.

I thought Sheridan (at one point) had brookies in one area in particular on the lake???
Just curious as to what species are in Bridge lk.

As Twanger said Rainbows - Lakers - Koks - Burbot- There were Eastern Brooks planted in Sheridan YEARs ago but rarely one is Ever or maybe Never caught now :smile: RJ

Ya, I heard they were rare to get now.
From what I was told, they hung out in one little corner of the lake for the most part.
But, yes it was rare to get one, so you might be right, they may all be gone now.
