What is it with MU 5-01

We got a group moose draw for 5-01. There is nothing in BC Hunting about the area. No maps outlining the boundries no references at all to it.
So I purchaced the Hunt Buddy app figuring that I could get info that way. Nope. Same info void.

Is this the Canadian version of area 51?

I don't see your problem. You have the whole area of 5-01 to hunt. Its not broken down into a,b,c,d units. Pick a spot in 5-01 and go hunting. Good luck.

Area 5-01 is directly east of 100 mile house. Find the LEH map that shows 100 mile house and there
is a map of the area you are looking for.

Just checked the hunt buddy app and it has 5-1 outlined on their map.

Maybe try reading some info about how to use hunt buddy. You shouldn't be having any issues. Good luck!

5-01 is a nice area but hit hard by the locals, wolves and extensive logging. Still pockets of moose left though, what are your draw dates?

Looking forward to it. Never hunted that area but we'll give it a try.
My daughter got an elk draw in 1-10G last year. 40 minutes into the season she had her 6 point down. Could history repeat?

Tough area it seems now for reasons described above..i gave up on it after my last draw there. Still worth a try and better than not getting drawn.

We used to see lots of moose here. I can't say for sure what changed that but they sure aren't around like they used to be. You might get lucky though there are still some around.

If you go to bc online synopsis page and there is six categories like nort western south eastern hit the south western one and a somewhat detailed map will come up for half your area
