Looking to get a winch for the aforementioned machine. Never owned a winch. Looking for any and all advice of what to look for and purchase.

I'm looking to use it strictly as an safety item for when I might get stuck during hunting travel.

There are a lot of off shore winch's on the market and they work fine but I still prefer a Warn winch for reliability
and longevity. Easy to get parts for were as off shore not so easy.
i would look at no less than a 3000lb winch for you machine. Good luck.

Full sized 570 I'd suggest a 4000lb or bigger
Mid sized 570 3000lb or larger.

Polaris branded 3500 warn in my midsize. Perfect. Especially if you know how to use anchors and snatch blocks.

Yep! Don't cheap out when you are getting something to save you in a bind.
